Become a Dueltainer

Apply for the official Dueltainer audition process, submit your decks, complete the rules exam, and track your status from one clean hub.

Start only when applications are open

The Admin team opens audition cycles. When a cycle is open, use Start Application and complete each section in order.

Submit your contact info and 3 decks

Your Discord is required. Your three saved decks are checked and stored with your application for review.

Take the rules sections

You complete Yu-Gi-Oh rules, Dueltainer rules, and advanced rulings. Each section is forward-only, so read carefully.

Wait for review

Admins review scores, decks, notes, and audition readiness. Use the Status page to see what is finished and what still needs attention.

Requirements

  • Must be 18+
  • Must have Discord access and be part of the Dueltainer Network Discord community.
  • Must submit 3 legal Dueltainer Format decks saved to your account
  • Must have a proper Duel Disk whether hand crafted or official Duel Disk (they can be bought on eBay)
  • Must pass the scored exam
  • Must complete the live audition process when applications are open
Do not spam the exam. Failed attempts should be reviewed, corrected, and improved before the next round.

Sections 3–5 each pull 10 random questions from the Admin-managed question banks.

How the application works

1. Applicants save socials and submit 3 saved DTN decks for review.
2. Section 2 ties directly into decks saved on the user account and snapshots the exact list used.
3. Scored sections are timed, forward-only, and locked per attempt.
4. Admin tools manage audition cycles, question banks, deck approvals, and final status.

Bonus qualities we look for

  • Comfortable and engaging on camera
  • Can clearly explain plays, decks, and rulings
  • Active in the DTN community

Your well-being comes first. If life is rough, take care of yourself first. DTN will still be here when you are ready.
