How to Become a Dueltainer

Dueltainers are auditioned members who can be featured in DTN content, tournaments, streams, and future projects. Becoming one happens through open auditions and vouches.

Open AuditionsWhen auditions are open, we announce them in the DTN Discord with the instructions.
Vouch SystemAn existing Dueltainer can vouch for someone they think fits DTN. A vouch gives them an audition chance, not an automatic role.
Confirm FirstThe person vouching should make sure the person actually wants to audition before staff reaches out.
AuditionThe audition checks presentation, format understanding, and whether the duel feels fun, back-and-forth, and DTN.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be 18+.
  • Must join the DTN Discord so audition updates and staff communication are easy.
  • Duel Disk is mandatory — official Konami or a reasonable homemade full-field setup.
  • Decent video/audio setup. A phone is fine if the duel is clear and easy to hear.
  • At least 3 Dueltainer Format legal decks.
  • Basic understanding of official Yu-Gi-Oh rules and Dueltainer Format rules.
  • Open auditions are announced when they happen.
